Every Item Documented. Every Value Defensible.
Trinity's inventory listing and pricing process was designed by former insurance adjusters to produce documentation that goes directly into your claims file — no reformatting, no gaps, no guesswork.
Documentation built for the claims file.
When Trinity inventories a loss, the result is a comprehensive, photo-documented record of every item — with replacement market values, actual cash value calculations, and depreciation applied according to industry standards. The final report is built to support reserve accuracy, reduce disputes, and accelerate claim resolution.
Because our founders built this process from the adjuster's perspective, every deliverable is formatted to align with how claims professionals actually use contents documentation. You receive one consolidated report covering condition assessment, disposition status, replacement pricing, ACV, and depreciation — ready for your file.
A defined sequence, documented at every step.
On-Site Inventory
Every item is inventoried at the loss site before pack-out. Each item is individually photographed, catalogued, and assigned a unique tracking code. Our team documents the condition of every item as found, capturing damage type, severity, and any pre-existing wear.
Disposition Evaluation
Each item is evaluated and categorized across Trinity's disposition framework: dry cleaning, electronics or appliance testing, furniture restoration, art restoration, specialty item handling, salvageable, non-salvageable, or non-salvageable essential. This granular classification ensures accurate treatment routing and supports precise reserve-setting.
Replacement Pricing & Market Valuation
Our Listing and Pricing team researches current market replacement values for every inventoried item. Pricing is based on like-kind-and-quality replacement sourced from current Canadian retail markets, documented with source references for transparency and defensibility.
ACV & Depreciation Reporting
Actual cash value and depreciation are calculated and applied to each item based on age, condition at time of loss, and expected useful life. The depreciation methodology is documented in the report so that the calculations are transparent and supportable if questioned.
