Service

Tested. Documented. Defensible.

Trinity's in-house electronics and appliances testing lab provides thorough evaluation, testing, and restoration — with clear, documented determinations that support your claims file.

In-House Testing Lab

Complex items deserve a controlled evaluation.

Electronics and appliances are among the most complex items in a contents claim. Values can be high, and replacement-versus-repair decisions carry significant cost implications.

Trinity operates a dedicated in-house testing lab where every item is individually evaluated, tested for functionality and safety, and assessed for restoration viability.

Our Evaluation Process

A defined sequence, documented at every step.

01

Initial Assessment

Each item is inspected for visible damage — smoke exposure, water intrusion, soot, heat warping, corrosion, and electrical damage.

02

Functional & Safety Testing

Items are tested for functionality and electrical safety. Safety concerns result in non-salvageable classification regardless of functionality.

03

Restoration & Cleaning

Ultrasonic cleaning of circuit boards, deodorization, exterior reconditioning, and retesting following restoration.

04

Determination & Documentation

Clear determination — restored and safe, salvageable with residual value, or non-salvageable. Reasoning is documented for the file.

What This Means for the Claims File

Documentation that eliminates ambiguity.

Every electronics and appliance determination is fully documented. Each item includes a condition assessment with photos, a record of the testing performed, the outcome, and the rationale behind the disposition.

This level of documentation reduces disputes, supports accurate reserve management, and gives the adjuster everything needed to defend the determination if it is questioned.

Specialty Items & Preferred Vendors

One point of contact, even for specialty work.

For specialized electronics requiring manufacturer-level diagnostics, Trinity coordinates with preferred specialty vendors at negotiated rates. The savings are passed directly to the carrier.

Throughout the process, the Trinity project manager remains the single point of contact — the adjuster never has to chase a third party for status or documentation.
